Job summary

JobsTrackR in Cornwall is seeking an experienced Domestic Gas Service & Breakdown Engineer to service, maintain and repair domestic gas appliances and heating systems in social housing. You will work under Gas Safe regulations and carry ACS qualifications. A full UK driving licence is required and you may join a call-out rota with additional pay.

Qualifications

Gas Safe registration is mandatory.
ACS qualifications CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1 and HTR1 are required.
Full UK driving licence is required.
Experience in gas servicing and breakdown work is required.
Experience in social housing or housing association contracts is preferred.

Responsibilities

Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on domestic gas appliances and heating systems.
Diagnosing and rectifying breakdowns in social housing properties.
Completing repairs in line with Gas Safe regulations.
Managing parts ordering and job progression to ensure timely completion.
Using PDA technology to update jobs and record work.
Liaising with tenants and clients, providing updates and delivering customer service.
Participating in the call-out rota (paid extra).
Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
