Job summary

COREcruitment is recruiting an experienced Gas Engineer for constant travel across sites in the Slough–Reading corridor. You will maintain HVAC and gas-fired systems, ensuring safe and compliant store environments with a full UK driving licence and field-based duties.

The role involves planned and reactive maintenance, adherence to SLAs, and working in line with HSE policies. Comprehensive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Recognised Commercial Gas qualifications - minimum of 4 from: COCN1, CIGA1, CORT1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, ICPN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CDGA1, CCP1
• F-Gas (2079) certified
• Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel daily across the patch
• Proven experience working on HVAC/gas systems in a multi-site environment

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM schedules and complete all associated paperwork to procedure
• Respond promptly to helpdesk call-outs, diagnose faults, and complete repairs within agreed SLAs
• Service and maintain HVAC assets including: Air handling units (gas-fired heating, LPHW, DX coils)
• Heat pump systems and single split air conditioning
• LPHW boilers, pumps, inverters, DHW boilers, and water chillers
• Identify non-repairable plant faults and recommend replacements to the Line Manager
• Work in line with Health, Safety, and Environmental policies at all times

About the Role

We’re recruiting an experienced Gas Engineer to support a major national retail client across the Slough to Reading corridor. You'll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance of HVAC and gas-fired systems across multiple sites, ensuring safe, compliant, and reliable store environments.

This is a field-based role with daily travel between sites. A full UK driving licence is essential.
