Job summary

McM Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Domestic Gas Engineer to join a well-established facilities management contractor, delivering hard FM services across sectors.

The role covers gas servicing, maintenance, and repair, reactive responses, and planned visits. Applicants must be Gas Safe registered with current domestic gas qualifications and hold a Full UK driving license. Ongoing training and progression opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe registered with up to date domestic gas qualifications.
• Previous experience as a Domestic Gas Engineer in service, repair and maintenance.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience using PDAs or job management systems is desirable.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Reliable, with a professional approach and strong communication skills.

We are currently recruiting for a Domestic Gas Engineer to join a well-established facilities management contractor, delivering hard FM services across a range of sectors.

The business provides reactive and planned maintenance, mechanical and electrical compliance and refurbishment services to clients in healthcare, education, retail, office and commercial, and hospitality and leisure. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Gas Engineer to join a growing business that invests in its people, with ongoing training and development.

The Role

• Domestic gas servicing, maintenance and repair
• Attending reactive and breakdown calls and diagnosing faults
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance visits
• Completing gas safety checks and compliance documentation
• Working across a range of domestic and residential properties
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations
• Providing a professional service to clients and building users

Requirements

• Gas Safe registered with up to date domestic gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1 or equivalent)
• Previous experience as a Domestic Gas Engineer in service, repair and maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience using PDAs or job management systems is desirable
• Full UK driving licence
• Reliable, with a professional approach and strong communication skills
