We are actively recruiting for a Gas Engineer to carry out planned maintenance, scheduled servicing, fault finding and repairs to a range of commercial gas fired heating equipment such as commercial boilers, domestic boilers, S-plan / Y-plan, vented & un-vented systems, water heaters, component replacements such as pumps, valves, thermostats, sensors, actuators, expansion vessels and controls etc.
As a mobile Gas Engineer, you will be working within a 90 minute radius of Bournemouth covering areas predominately in Dorset, Hampshire, Wiltshire regions. You will be paid your travel time following 30 minutes each way or if hours are deemed "unsociable" in the mornings (ie: leaving home at 6am) then you will be paid x1.5 rate for your time after 30 minutes. If daily hours exceed 9.5 hours out of the house including travelling time, then you will also be paid x1.5 rate for this time. Hours are flexible, meaning expectations are 9.5 hours out of the house from whenever you leave home, ie: leave home at 6am, back by 3:30. Leve home at 7am, home by 4:30pm.
