Job summary

Professional Personnel Management Ltd is recruiting a Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer for Basingstoke and surrounding areas. You will service and repair commercial boilers and heating systems at customer sites within about two hours of your home, with a fully expensed company van.

40 hours per week (Mon-Fri) with an out-of-hours rota (1 in 5). We provide funded gas qualification renewals, PPE and tools, plus pension, death-in-service cover and a healthcare cashback scheme.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and repairing commercial boilers and related systems.
• Electrical and electronic fault-finding knowledge relevant to gas equipment.
• A valid driving licence and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults in commercial gas systems and carry out maintenance and repairs.
• Respond to gas escapes and issue certification where required.
• Maintain job records and update customers on equipment condition.

Mobile Commercial Gas Engineer - Basingstoke and surrounding areas

£45,000 - £50,000 (DOE) + call-out payments | Fully expensed company van

We're recruiting on behalf of an established building services business looking to expand its engineering team.

This mobile role offers varied work across customer sites within approximately two hours of your home, servicing and repairing commercial boilers, heating systems and associated plant.

Hours and package

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Out-of-hours rota: 1 in 5, with standby allowance.

Fully expensed company van.

Funded gas qualification renewals and relevant training.

PPE and specialist tools supplied; engineers provide their own hand tools.

Pension, death-in-service cover and healthcare cashback scheme.

20 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing with service to 25 days.

Your responsibilities

You’ll diagnose faults, undertake maintenance and repairs, respond to reported gas escapes and issue certification. You’ll also maintain job records, update customers on equipment condition and arrange replacement parts through the purchasing process.

What you’ll bring
