Job summary

MC Technical Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Engine Maintenance Technician for the Gloucester area to perform planned and reactive maintenance on large gas engines. You will join a leading power generation business and contribute to PPMs, gas balancing, and ensuring safety compliance.

The role includes a 1 in 8 call-out rota, a competitive salary up to £38,000 per annum after probation, and additional benefits such as a company van and pension.

Qualifications

• Experience carrying out maintenance on reciprocating engines (Jenbacher, Caterpillar preferred).
• Recognised mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent experience.
• Sound knowledge of health & safety practices.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Engine maintenance – PPMs, planned & reactive.
• Gas balancing and checking wells.
• Participating in a call out rota (1 in 8).
• Ensuring Health & Safety is adhered to at all times.
• Other duties as required.
