Job summary

MC Technical Recruitment Ltd is recruiting an Engine Maintenance Technician to cover an area around Gloucester, Swindon and south Birmingham. You will conduct planned and preventative maintenance on large diesel or gas engines in power generation settings and travel between remote sites.

The role offers a salary up to £46,000 with a van and bonus, on-call duties, and company benefits including pension and holidays, with travel and on-site safety compliance an essential part of the job.

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 or C&G qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience working on large diesel or gas engines.
• Diagnostic & fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

• Adhering to all H&S regulations in a power generation setting.
• Performing preventative, corrective & reactive maintenance on large engines & powergen assets.
• Responding to out of hours call out during your on-call week.
• Managing van stock.
• Attending training to enhance skills.

Willingness to travel

Full UK driving licence

Education
