Job summary

MC Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Engine Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance on large gas engines in the Gloucester area. The role involves planning and reactive maintenance, gas balancing, and joining a call-out rota.

Health and safety are integral to every task and other duties may be assigned as required. The ideal candidate will have a mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent experience, plus experience with reciprocating engines (Jenbacher/Caterpillar

• Experience carrying out maintenance on reciprocating engines (Jenbacher, Caterpillar advantageous).
• Recognised mechanical apprenticeship or equivalent experience with relevant industry experience.
• Sound knowledge of health & safety.
• Full UK driving licence.

MC Technical Recruitment are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Engine Maintenance Technician, to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on large gas engines. Our client is an established business within the Power Generation sector, with the opportunity for an experienced Engine Technician to join their team in the Gloucester area.

As an Engine Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Engine maintenance – PPMs, planned & reactive
• Gas balancing and checking wells
• Participating in a call out rota (1 in 8)
• Ensuring Health & Safety is adhered to at all times
• Other duties as required

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• Experience carrying out maintenance on reciprocating engines. Jenbacher, Caterpillar would be advantageous etc
