Job summary

SGN in Paisley, Scotland is launching a 3-year Emergency Gas Responder Apprenticeship. You will learn on-site while studying, gaining hands-on experience alongside our engineers to safely deliver gas services.

You will attend college on block release (1 week every 2 months on site). After completion you will qualify as a Gas Engineer with SGN, with ongoing career development opportunities.

Qualifications

National 5 grades A-C including Maths and English.
Willingness to learn and develop skills in gas engineering.
Commitment to up to 3 years of training and education.

Responsibilities

Responding to reported gas emergencies.
Installation and replacement of gas meters.
Installing, testing and commissioning internal gas pipework.
Promoting health and safety in gas service/repair activities.
