Job summary

MMP Consultancy Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead electrical works on a Social Housing contract in Newham. The role includes acting as the NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor and ensuring all work is completed safely and to high standards while supporting electricians and apprentices.

Key responsibilities include signing off certifications, conducting quality inspections, and mentoring operatives.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent) required.
• Experience as Electrical Supervisor, QS, or EQS preferred.
• Strong knowledge of NICEIC standards and social housing maintenance essential.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical repairs, maintenance, testing, and installation works.
• Act as the NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor and sign off electrical certification.
• Conduct quality inspections and site audits.
• Ensure compliance with NICEIC standards, IET Wiring Regulations, and Health & Safety requirements.
• Provide technical support to operatives and management teams.
• Mentor electricians and apprentices to improve performance and quality.
• Promote a strong Health & Safety culture and ensure RAMS compliance.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor, QS, or EQS.
• Strong knowledge of NICEIC compliance and social housing maintenance.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Salary up to £51,000 DOE.
