Job summary

Bimplus is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead electrical operatives across Southend-on-Sea and surrounding Essex areas. You will oversee daily electrical operations, supervise teams, and ensure all works are carried out safely, compliantly, and to high quality standards.

The role requires strong supervisory experience, a full UK driving licence, and qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation, City & Guilds 2391, and AM2. 18th Edition (BS7671) preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in an Electrical Supervisor role with delivery of safe, compliant works.
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation and 2391 qualification are required.
• AM2 and 18th Edition preferred; strong knowledge of regulations and testing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day electrical operations and supervise operatives and subcontractors.
• Provide technical support to engineers and carry out quality inspections.
• Ensure compliance with current regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain high workmanship standards and deliver works safely.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Electrical Supervisor to join our growing team covering Southend-on-Sea and surrounding Essex areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrical professional with strong supervisory experience to lead electrical operatives, maintain high standards of workmanship, and ensure all works are delivered safely, compliantly, and to the highest quality standards.

The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day electrical operations, provide technical support to engineers, carry out quality inspections, and ensure compliance with current regulations and company procedures.

• Proven experience in an Electrical Supervisor role.
• City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection
• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
• AM2 Qualification
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) preferred.
• Strong understanding of electrical testing, inspection, fault finding, and certification.
• Experience supervising electrical operatives and subcontractors.
• Excellent knowledge of current electrical regulations and industry best practices.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Qualifications

• SSSTS or SMSTS.
• ECS/CSCS Card.
• Experience working within social housing, local authority, commercial, or property maintenance contracts.
