Job summary

MMP Consultancy seeks an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead electrical works on a social housing contract in Newham. You will act as the NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor, ensuring safe, compliant work and high standards while supporting electricians and apprentices.

You will oversee repairs, maintenance, testing and installation tasks, conducting site audits and ensuring RAMS compliance. Strong leadership and NICEIC knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent is required.
• 18th Edition qualification is required.
• 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification is required.
• Experience as Electrical Supervisor, QS, or EQS is essential.
• Strong knowledge of NICEIC compliance and social housing maintenance.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical repairs, maintenance, testing, and installations.
• Act as NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor and sign off electrical certification.
• Conduct quality inspections and site audits for compliance.
• Ensure adherence to NICEIC standards, IET Wiring Regulations and safety rules.
• Provide technical support to operatives and management teams.
• Mentor electricians and apprentices to improve performance.
• Promote a strong Health & Safety culture and RAMS compliance.
