Job summary

MMP Consultancy Limited is recruiting an experienced Compliance Manager (Electrical & Gas) to lead electrical and gas compliance across a large housing contract in South West London. You will work with senior leadership, client reps, and contractors to ensure high standards of governance and statutory compliance.

The role focuses on performance management, reporting improvements, and continuous governance enhancement, with a salary of £60k-£70k per annum. Permanent, based in South West London.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing electrical and gas compliance programmes.
• Experience in social housing, housing association, local authority, or contractor environment.
• Detailed knowledge of statutory compliance requirements relating to residential housing assets.
• Experience managing contractors and monitoring KPIs.

• Track record of reviewing operational processes and driving service improvements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational management of electrical and gas compliance activities across the contract.
• Review, develop, and strengthen compliance governance processes and controls.
• Monitor contractor performance against KPIs and service level standards.
• Manage key subcontractor relationships, ensuring accountability for performance and compliance.
• Ensure all statutory and regulatory compliance requirements are achieved and maintained.
• Review reporting processes and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Drive consistency across management information and compliance reporting frameworks.
• Analyse performance data and provide recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Conduct audits and reviews of compliance processes, systems, and contractor outputs.
• Identify compliance risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the compliance function.
• Work collaboratively with clients and operational teams to ensure service delivery objectives are met.

Working closely with senior leadership teams, client representatives, and specialist contractors, you will take ownership of the delivery and performance of electrical and gas compliance services across a large housing contract.
