Our team is committed to delivering outstanding service across both domestic and commercial properties, and we're now seeking a skilled Gas Engineer to join our team.

Job Overview

We are looking for a highly experienced and versatile Gas Engineer with expertise in both domestic and commercial gas systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing, heating, and gas appliance installations, with a focus on diagnosis and repair. This role offers the potential to grow into a leadership position, with future profit-sharing opportunities for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities

1. Service, repair, and install gas appliances across both domestic and commercial properties.
2. Diagnose and resolve heating and gas-related issues efficiently and safely.
3. Conduct comprehensive inspections of gas systems, identify faults, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
4. Provide certification for gas installations, repairs, and safety checks, ensuring all work complies with legal and safety regulations.
5. Perform regular maintenance and servicing of domestic and commercial heating systems.
6. Complete Landlord Gas Safety Certificates (LGSC) for both domestic and commercial properties.
7. Investigate complex gas-related issues and generate detailed reports on findings and recommended actions.
8. Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that clients are informed and satisfied with the work completed.
9. Maintain and manage the tools, equipment, and resources necessary for the job.

Key Qualifications & Skills

1. ACS (Accredited Certification Scheme) qualification for Gas Engineering.
2. Proven experience in both domestic and commercial gas systems, plumbing, and heating.
3. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
4. Experience working with a wide range of gas appliances and heating systems.
5. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to different job sites daily.
6. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
7. Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
8. Knowledge of current regulations, including gas safety standards and building codes.
