Gas Safe Heating Engineer

£40k-£50k Basic Salary (subject to experience) + Company Van/Fuel + Overtime + Benefits

Location: Berkshire

Alecto Recruitment Ltd is currently seeking an experienced and fully qualified Gas Engineer / Plumbing and Heating Engineer to join one of our clients, a leading and well-established provider of Mechanical and Electrical Services. To be considered, you'll ideally live locally to areas such as Windsor, Maidenhead, or Bracknell.

Job Summary

Responsible for covering several sites around the Berkshire region. The role predominantly involves working on domestic gas boilers, plumbing, and heating systems, but also includes work in a commercial setting. Responsibilities include maintenance, reactive works, and planned gas safety inspections. The role is part of an on-call rota system.

(Additional standby rate and call-out rates apply.) Fully employed position, Monday to Friday, with a package including a company van, fuel, pension, holiday pay, etc.

Key Skills Required

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating
• Gas Safe Registered / Domestic Gas Qualifications such as CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1
• Commercial Gas certificates are desired but not essential
• Experience with domestic gas, boiler repair, and maintenance work

Ideal candidates will be Gas Safe Engineers with experience in domestic gas, plumbing, and heating systems, including commercial plumbing and gas work.
