Grounds Maintenance Operative – Uxbridge

Salary: From £27,000 per annum (40 hours per week)

About the Role:

We are seeking a hardworking and motivated individual to carry out grounds maintenance across multiple sites. You will play a key role in keeping outdoor areas well-maintained and presentable, ensuring all services meet high standards and customer expectations.

Our client is one of the UK’s leading providers of management and maintenance services for parks and green spaces. As a fast-growing company, they are now expanding their team and looking to hire a Grounds Maintenance Operative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Weeding, cleaning, lawn mowing, strimming, hedge cutting
• Carrying out general grounds maintenance tasks
• Ensuring high health & safety standards
• Using the appropriate power and hand tools where required

Requirements:

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Ability to self-motivate and work well within a team
• Experience using power tools and horticultural equipment (e.g., strimmers, hedge trimmers, push mowers)
• Previous grounds maintenance experience (preferred)
• Strong awareness of Health & Safety procedures
• Ability to meet and exceed business objectives
• Experience implementing quality standards and working to customer specifications
