British Garden Centres is seeking a Garden Centre Team Leader for the Chilton centre. You will lead the plants department, supervise staff, and ensure excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong people skills, and at least two years of plant knowledge with horticulture experience. Forklift training is a plus and heavy lifting may be involved.

Qualifications

• Two years of plant knowledge and prior horticulture experience required.
• Physically fit due to hands-on role with some heavy lifting.
• Forklift license would be an advantage.

Responsabilités

We are looking for a Team Leader Plants to work in this fast paced and very customer focused Centre. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, approachable and have excellent people skills with a positive “can do” attitude plus a keen eye for detail.

The successful candidate should be physically fit as this is a very hands on role and some heavy lifting will be involved. Forklift truck license would be an advantage although not essential as training will be given.

Experience In Building Or Similar Retail Experience Is Preferred.

2 years of plant knowledge a must, previous work within horticulture required.
