Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is hiring a Gamification Designer for a 12 Month FTC, based in Dundee or Edinburgh with hybrid work. You will design engaging interfaces and game-like experiences using our design system to simplify customer interactions.

You will prototype with Figma, Unity or Adobe XD, collaborating with researchers and product owners, while advocating accessible design and balancing business needs with user needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years working as a designer or developer.
• Demonstrable Human Centred Design approach.
• Willingness to present designs to stakeholders and adapt by feedback.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (UX Writers, Service Designers, Visual Designers, Games Developers).
• Ability to test designs with users using research and insight to iterate.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging interfaces and journeys using our design system components.
• Prototype with tools like Figma, Rive, Unity or Adobe XD.
• Balance business requirements with user needs and validate ideas with researchers.
• Collaborate with researchers, content designers, games developers and product owners.
• Explore gamification to make complex topics engaging and understandable.
• Document game mechanics and design decisions for multidisciplinary teams.
