About the Role

We’re looking for someone who can work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary design team, with a willingness to learn from and collaborate with other Interaction Designers. • Bring your ideas to life through prototyping tools such as Figma, Rive, Unity or Adobe XD.
  • Balance business requirements with user needs, working with our researchers to validate ideas and align with internal customers on individual user needs.
  • Work closely with researchers, content designers, games developers and product owners throughout the design process.
  • Explore how game mechanics, progression systems, feedback loops and gamification techniques can make complex topics easier to understand and more engaging.
  • Document game mechanics, experience flows and design decisions so they can be clearly understood and delivered by multidisciplinary teams.
  • Be adaptable to the technical constraints of different platforms yet still be able to give guidance on creating the best possible end user experience.
  • Champion inclusive and accessible design for customers with a wide range of needs, abilities and levels of financial confidence.
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 2 years work experience as a designer or developer.
  • A demonstrable Human Centred Design approach.
  • Willingness to present designs to stakeholders and adapt them based on feedback.

  • Strong prototyping skills using tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.
  • Experience designing or contributing to interactive experiences using game engines such as Unity or animation tools such as Rive.
  • Knowledge of behavioural design principles and an understanding of how engagement, feedback and motivation can influence customer behaviour.
  • Ability to clearly communicate and document game concepts, mechanics, progression systems and design decisions for multidisciplinary teams.
  • Appreciation of accessibility and inclusive design.
  • Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.
