Lloyds Banking Group in Dundee or Edinburgh is seeking a Gamification Designer on a 12 Month FTC to craft engaging interfaces and game-like experiences within our central design system.

You'll prototype with Figma, Unity and Rive, balance business needs with user needs, and collaborate with researchers, content designers and developers to deliver accessible, inclusive experiences across platforms.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a designer or developer.
• Human centred design approach.
• Willingness to present designs to stakeholders and adapt based on feedback.
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams (UX Writers, Service Designers, Visual Designers, Games Developers).
• Appetite for testing designs with users using research and insights to iterate.
• Strong prototyping skills with Figma or Adobe XD.
• Experience designing interactive experiences with Unity or animation with Rive.
• Knowledge of behavioural design principles and how engagement/motivation influence customer behaviour.
• Ability to clearly document game concepts, mechanics and design decisions for multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to accessibility and inclusive design.
• Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging interfaces, journeys and interactive experiences using our design system.
• Prototype ideas with tools like Figma, Rive, Unity or Adobe XD.
• Balance business needs with user needs; validate with researchers and align with internal customers.
• Collaborate with researchers, content designers, games developers and product owners.
• Explore gamification techniques to make complex topics engaging.
• Document game mechanics and design decisions for multidisciplinary teams.
• Guide on best practices for cross-platform experiences given technical constraints.
• Champion inclusive and accessible design.
