Job summary

Comhairle nan Eilean Siar in Harris is seeking a Nursery Key Worker, Qualified, Gaelic Medium, for 21 hours per week during term-time. The post is permanent, with a salary of £15,991 - £17,477 per annum, including £1,470 Distant Islands Allowance.

Through Gaelic, you will plan a curriculum to support children’s development and you will lead play sessions while considering every child’s needs. PVG scheme membership is a formal requirement for this role.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young children and their families in early years settings.
• Ability to read and speak Gaelic is essential.
