Comhairle nan Eilean Siar is hiring a Nursery Key Worker (unqualified) for Gaelic Medium settings at Sgoil Àraich an Taobh Siar. This is a term-time, part-time post (23.5 hours/week) with a permanent contract, salary £16,879–£17,524 per annum, including a £1,645 Distant Islands Allowance.

Applicants must be able to speak and read Gaelic and have proven childcare experience working with young children and families in an early years setting. PVG membership is required.

Qualifications

• Proven childcare experience with young children and families.
• Ability to work in Gaelic-medium early years setting.
• Commitment to safeguarding and PVG membership requirements.

Responsabilités

• Plan curriculum through Gaelic medium to support children’s learning.
• Lead and facilitate play sessions and overall child development.
• Coordinate activities to meet each child’s needs within term time.
