Job summary

Gemba Advantage is seeking experienced DevOps Engineers to shape modern delivery for public‑sector clients across the UK. You’ll help design and evolve cloud environments, automate pipelines, and lead technical decisions in a security‑driven environment.

This role requires active or recently active DV clearance, on‑site work up to four days a week, and strong hands‑on experience with AWS, IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK), Kubernetes, Docker, and GitOps practices.

Qualifications

• Active, or recently active, SC or DV clearance (essential)
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and production environments
• Deep hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) and Kubernetes/Docker
• Confidence designing and operating secure CI/CD pipelines, using Git and modern DevOps practices
• Practical experience with databases, APIs, programming/scripting languages, and a range of operating systems

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver robust automation, platforms, and CI/CD pipelines for complex systems
• Use Infrastructure as Code and cloud‑native tooling to create secure, scalable environments
• Lead technical reviews, guide engineering decisions, and support fault fixing and maintenance
• Mentor engineers, improve ways of working, and champion continuous improvement and security
