Job summary

Gemba Advantage in London (Hybrid) seeks a Senior/Principal DevOps Engineer to design and run secure, cloud-native platforms for critical public-sector clients. You will drive automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code, while improving engineering practices and solving challenging problems alongside our customers.

Requirements include active SC or DV clearance, strong cloud experience (AWS), IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK), Kubernetes and Docker, Git-based workflows, and

Qualifications

• Active, or recently active, SC or DV clearance (essential)
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (Like AWS) and production environments
• Deep hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) and Kubernetes/Docker
• Confidence designing and operating secure CI/CD pipelines, using Git and modern DevOps practices
• Practical experience with databases, APIs, programming/scripting languages, and a range of operating systems

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver robust automation, platforms, and CI/CD pipelines for complex systems
• Use Infrastructure as Code and cloud-native tooling to create secure, scalable environments
• Lead technical reviews, guide engineering decisions, and support fault fixing and maintenance
• Mentor engineers, improve ways of working, and champion continuous improvement and security
