Job summary

Gemba Advantage in London (Hybrid) is seeking a Senior/Principal DevOps Engineer to design and deliver robust automation, platforms, and CI/CD pipelines for complex systems. You will lead technical reviews, guide engineering decisions, and support fault fixing and maintenance while mentoring teams and championing security.

Active DV clearance is essential; role may require on-site work up to four days per week.

Qualifications

• Active, or recently active, SC or DV clearance (essential)
• Willing to work on-site up to 4 days per week
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and production environments
• Deep hands-on experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK) and Kubernetes/Docker
• Confident designing and operating secure CI/CD pipelines using Git and modern DevOps practices
• Practical experience with databases, APIs, programming/scripting languages, and multiple OSs

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver robust automation, platforms, and CI/CD pipelines for complex systems
• Use Infrastructure as Code and cloud-native tooling to create secure, scalable environments
• Lead technical reviews, guide engineering decisions, and support fault fixing and maintenance
• Mentor engineers, improve ways of working, and champion continuous improvement and security
