Arcadis is offering an Engineering Internship & Placement programme in the UK, designed to give hands-on experience across highways, water and rail. You’ll join multidisciplinary teams, work on real projects and gain exposure to clients while developing technical and professional skills.

Qualifications

• Working towards a degree in a relevant subject (Placement & Intern only)
• Arcadian skills including resilience, creativity, analytical thinking and teamwork
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence and consult stakeholders
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required (virtual working encouraged)
• Comfortable with site-based working when required for projects

Responsibilities

• Support civil engineering teams across highways, rail, energy and water projects
• Assist design using Civil 3D, OpenRoads and BIM
• Participate in site visits to ensure designs are safe, buildable and sustainable
• Learn about project delivery models, contracts and commercial constraints
• Collaborate across disciplines to deliver resilient, low-carbon solutions
