Job summary

Castelan is looking for a Furniture Technician to join our growing team. Working in customers' homes, you will repair and restore upholstery, leather and wooden furniture, delivering high-quality workmanship.

You will travel to various UK locations, provide friendly service, complete accurate reports, and contribute to ongoing improvement. We offer training, career progression, and a supportive culture.

Responsibilities

• Visiting customers to assess and repair upholstery, leather, wooden furniture and related items
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out professional repairs to a consistently high standard
• Completing accurate reports and submitting information promptly
• Working towards first-visit resolution and quality targets
• Promoting furniture care products where appropriate
• Maintaining company tools, equipment and vehicle to a professional standard
• Sharing feedback and suggestions that help drive continuous improvement

Working directly in customers' homes, you'll carry out furniture repairs and restoration work while providing a professional and friendly service. We’re seeking a skilled and motivated individual who can quickly integrate into the role and make an immediate contribution. While full training and support are provided, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their existing experience and continue developing their professional skills.

No two days are the same. You'll travel to different locations, meet a variety of customers, and use your technical skills to resolve issues and bring furniture back to its best condition. Location

Covering your designated regions, you'll work independently across a variety of customer homes, delivering expert furniture repairs and restoration services.
