Job summary

Häfele UK Ltd in Rugby is seeking a Furniture Fittings Technical Advisor to join our on-site team. This permanent, full-time role (38.75 hours Mon-Fri 8:45am-5:30pm) involves providing technical product advice, specification guidance and customer support across Häfele's fittings, ironmongery, lighting and hardware ranges.

You'll become a product expert, receive comprehensive training, and have a defined career path within a structured technical team.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills required.
• Good technical aptitude and ability to understand product specs and systems.
• Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Salesforce beneficial).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, plans or schematics.
• Clear, effective communication; explain technical information.
• Strong organisational skills; manage/prioritise workload.
• Proactive, solution-focused approach to problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical product advice and support via telephone, email and live chat.
• Help customers identify suitable products and solutions for projects.
• Investigate product enquiries and provide solutions, repairs or replacements.
• Support customers throughout their journey with quotations, orders and delivery updates.
• Develop specialist knowledge of Häfele's product ranges.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• Assist with new product introductions and process improvements.
• Manage customer enquiries through to resolution with professional communication.
• Maintain accurate CRM customer records.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and internal training initiatives.
• Collaborate across departments to achieve business and customer objectives.
