Job summary

The Talent Set are recruiting a Fundraising Officer for a fantastic charity, based at Leatherhead. You will support the delivery and growth of fundraising activity, building strong relationships with supporters and developing fundraising opportunities to maximise income.

This permanent, on-site role focuses on supporter stewardship, delivering engaging communications and helping to grow long-term support for the charity's work.

Qualifications

• Some experience within fundraising, supporter engagement, community engagement, sales, customer service, or another relationship-focused role.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a wide range of audiences.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proactive and enthusiastic, with a genuine interest in developing fundraising opportunities and building supporter relationships.
• Confident working independently while also contributing positively to a wider team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with supporters, fundraisers, community groups, and other fundraising stakeholders, providing excellent supporter care.
• Support the delivery of fundraising campaigns and activities, helping to maximise income and engagement.
• Identify and develop new fundraising opportunities, working proactively to recruit and engage new supporters.
• Provide guidance, advice, and resources to fundraisers to help them achieve their fundraising goals and have a positive experience.
• Deliver engaging supporter communications, stewardship activity, and impact updates to encourage retention and long-term support.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, monitor fundraising activity and income, and provide regular updates on performance.
• Support fundraising events and activities, representing the charity and building positive relationships with supporters and stakeholders.
