Turning Tides is seeking a Fundraising Officer in Worthing to generate unrestricted income through creative campaigns, corporate partnerships, and donor engagement. You will work cross‑departmentally with strong communication and relationship skills to drive impactful fundraising outcomes.
This role requires weekend and early morning/evening work, plus a full driving licence and access to a vehicle. The position offers hybrid working in Worthing and close collaboration with the fundraising team.
The Fundraising team is small but mighty. We shape and support the raising of funds for Turning Tides by inspiring compassion for people facing homelessness and aim to engage supporters through powerful storytelling. From supporting and creating fundraising events, engaging with community groups, corporate clients and providing 1:1 stewardship with donors we aim to spread the word of our mission to the wider community, inspiring people to take action in support of those who are impacted by homelessness. This is an exciting time in the Fundraising team as we embark on a review of how we make our supporters and journey one that they value and a part of the work we undertake.
As a Fundraising Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in generating vital unrestricted income through creative campaigns, corporate partnerships, and donor engagement. This is an opportunity to combine relationship-building skills with strategic thinking to make a tangible difference in people’s lives.
In this role you will work closely with all other departments so good communication and interpersonal skills will be needed,
Please note that this role has considerable expectation of working at weekends and in the early mornings and evenings. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential.

Based in Worthing with hybrid working. Expectation of 2 days minimum in the office.
37.5 hours per week
Flexibility needed for working out of hours and during the weekend.
