Job summary

South West Community Chaplaincy is seeking a Corporate and Community Fundraising Executive to develop relationships and steward supporters, with a particular focus on community organisations and individual fundraisers. The role will predominantly cover Community Fundraising while collaborating with the Corporate Fundraising team.

This hybrid position involves 4 days at our Surrey office and one day of homeworking after probation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in building relationships with supporters or partners.
• Demonstrated proactivity and drive to achieve fundraising goals.
• Confident verbal communicator, capable of face-to-face and phone conversations.
• Strong presentation, negotiation and networking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Community Fundraising plan and ensure key income streams are applied and managed.
• Research and identify new business opportunities within care team locations.
• Recruit, steward and support volunteer fundraisers to reach their goals.
• Support the Corporate and Community Fundraising team with events and campaigns.

We are looking for a Corporate and Community Fundraising Executive for an incredible children's health charity to be responsible for developing relationships and stewarding supporters, with a particular focus on community organisations and individual fundraisers.

The role will primarily focus on Community Fundraising but also work with the Corporate Fundraising team.

This is a hybrid role with 4 days in the Surrey office and one day homeworking after probation.

The Role:

The Candidate:

• Proven experience of building relationships.
• Proven experience of demonstrating proactivity and a desire to succeed.
• Confident verbal communicator - face to face and over the phone.
• Confident presenter.
• Strong negotiation, networking and relationship management skills.
