Job summary

James’ Place is hiring a Fundraising Manager – Trusts and Statutory to lead income from trusts and statutory sources, covering a 6-month fixed term maternity leave. The role is hybrid with 2–3 days per week in our centres in London, Liverpool, Birmingham or Newcastle.

You will manage a significant fundraising portfolio and work across the external affairs team to grow income. Salary is £42,000 per annum with a 15% Inner London Weighting where applicable, and the role reports to the Community

Qualifications

• Proven track record in charity fundraising, especially trusts and statutory income.
• Experience in managing donor relationships and securing large grants.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with stakeholders at high levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage portfolio of donors, volunteers and prospects with annual target of £750k–£1,000k.
• Build and develop relationships with donors and supporters to sustain funding.
• Attend events and write major grant applications and proposals.
• Support the Philanthropy Lead to maximise opportunities through the Appeal Board.
• Manage fundraising events and develop compelling cases for funders.
• Ensure compliance with fundraising regulations and best practices.
