Job summary

James’ Place Liverpool is seeking a dynamic Fundraising and External Affairs professional to develop and grow our fundraising activity across the North West, with hybrid working in Liverpool Centre.

You will build networks with local donors, engage volunteers, steward supporters, and collaborate with clinical and fundraising teams to secure multi-year funding for life-saving services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience of fundraising in the charity sector with results.
• Strong understanding of donor motivations across audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and relationship building.
• Confident, professional, resilient and collaborative.
• Experience using CRM databases (e.g. Salesforce).

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a network of local donors and partners across the North West.
• Engage volunteers and influencers to increase fundraising reach.
• Steward existing donors and prospects to secure multi-year support.
• Support community engagement and attend fundraising events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maximise fundraising opportunities.
• Identify funding opportunities and feedback to the team.
• Represent the charity professionally with local organisations.
• Help deliver the organisation’s business plan and objectives.
