Harris Hill is delighted to be working with a fantastic health charity to recruit a Fundraising Manager to cover a 12-month maternity leave.

As a Fundraising Manager, you will:

  • Develop the charity’s Events, Community, and Individual Giving income streams.
  • Build relationships with individuals across the UK to raise funds and enhance the charity’s profile.
  • Oversee an annual programme of fundraising activities, including national events, community development, and individual giving.
  • Support the team in achieving income targets and developing a strategy for sustainable growth.

In order to be successful, you must have:

  • Experience in fundraising or sales/marketing, preferably within the charity sector.
  • Proven leadership skills.
  • Financial planning skills with experience managing large budgets.
  • Experience planning, delivering, and evaluating fundraising activities and events.
  • Experience with campaigns, including acquisition and retention.
  • Experience working with designers, copywriters, printers, and mailing houses.
  • Ability to develop relationships with supporters undertaking their own fundraising activities.
  • Excellent storytelling and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for face-to-face communication.
  • Self-motivation and independence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, and experience with databases like Salesforce.

Contract type: 12 months FTC

Deadline: Rolling basis
