Role Title

Summary

• We are a charitable/nonprofit organisation seeking a passionate and self-motivated Fundraising Volunteer to join our team in supporting the growth of our donor and sponsor base .
• In this remote, commission-based volunteer role —while there is no base pay , volunteers are eligible to receive commission on funds raised through their efforts
• By volunteering with us, you’ll gain valuable experience in fundraising, donor relations, and nonprofit communications.

Commitment: This position is unpaid and only commission based. It requires a minimum of 20 hours a week for 1 year. This position is fully remote.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with developing and executing fundraising campaigns and outreach strategies
• Identify and engage potential donors, partners, and sponsors
• Draft compelling donor communications, proposals, and pitches
• Support digital fundraising through email, social media, and virtual events
• Collaborate with team members to optimize fundraising goals
• Attend regular virtual meetings and provide progress updates

Requirements

• Strong interest in global development, nonprofit work, and social causes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently
• Comfortable using digital tools such as Google Workspace and CRM systems
• Previous fundraising or sales experience is a plus
• Must be available to commit 20 hours per week for 1 year

Compensation Structure

• This is a volunteer position with no guaranteed salary or stipend
• Volunteers will receive commission-based compensation tied directly to successful fundraising outcomes (details to be discussed during onboarding)
