Job Description:

Reporting to: Head of Funded Learning

External Relationships: Funding Bodies, Delivery Partner Organisations

Internal Relationships: Funding team, Planning Team, Operations, Compliance

Scope: Your role will be to ensure the viability of training delivery and to help maximise funding drawdown from funded learning contracts.

You will work closely with the Head of Funded Learning during bid stage and take on projects at contract award. You will guide projects through mobilisation and retain some involvement during delivery to maximize funding drawdown.

This broad role is suitable for a multitasker adept at dealing with internal and external stakeholders, prioritising effectively, and coming up with innovative solutions. Persuasiveness and flexibility to try different approaches are essential.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The responsibilities are categorized as follows:

Contract mobilisation:

• Ensure due diligence for new contracts, working with Compliance to complete documentation on time.
• Coordinate with partners (colleges, clients, training providers), hotels, or operations to facilitate course delivery within suitable facilities.
• Brief the Marketing Team to generate Learner and B2B enquiries.

Contract delivery:

• Work with Marketing to set up new courses in the booking system.
• Collaborate with Planning to ensure sufficient instructor and course space capacity for monthly and contractual targets.

Reporting:

• Maintain the project planning tool (currently Planner App within Microsoft Teams), including setting tasks, monitoring progress, and reporting on timelines and blockers.
• Stay aware of upcoming contracts and operational funding status for drawdown.

Key Performance Indicators:

• Meet training delivery timelines as per contract requirements.
• Maximize funding drawdown by ensuring sufficient training spaces are available for learners.
