Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is offering two funded training placements in Systemic Therapy via the CYP-IAPT programme. Posts will be based in Cornwall CAMHS, with travel between East Cornwall and Mid/West Cornwall during the year-long course (Jan–Dec 2027).

You will study at the University of Exeter two days per week and work in a children's mental health service for 2–3 days per week. Applicants from CAMHS backgrounds with relevant competencies and registration in children’s

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children and adolescents with complex mental health needs in a child-focused multi-agency setting.
• Experience of working in multi-disciplinary and multi-agency settings.
• Able to assess, plan, implement and evaluate treatment.
• Current professional registration - i.e NMC, HCPC, BPS.
• Qualification in a relevant intervention.
• Evidence of plans for further professional updating.

Responsibilities

• Work within Cornwall CAMHS delivering systemic interventions.
• Participate in the CYP-IAPT training programme while providing clinical supervision.
• Learn and apply systemic techniques under supervision of senior practitioners.
