Job summary

Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is offering a training post in CYP-IAPT systemic therapy within CAMHS Eating Disorders. Qualifications

• Professional qualification - RN (Mental Health / Child) / OT / Social Worker / Psychologist
• Experience with children and adolescents with complex mental health needs in a child-focused multi-agency setting
• Experience in multi-disciplinary CAMHS teams and multi-agency setting
• Current professional registration - i.e NMC, HCPC, BPS
• Qualification in a relevant intervention (Desirable)
• Up to date with legislation policy relating to CAMHS (Desirable)
• Evidence of plans of professional updating (Desirable)
• Can communicate and establish effective working relationships with children and young people and their families (Essential)

Responsibilities

• This is a training role within the Child and Young Persons Improving Access to Psychological Therapies Programme (CYP-IAPT).
• The post-holders will work within Cornwall CAMHS-ED service at Cornwall Partnership Trust, providing systemic interventions whilst undertaking a programme of training for these roles at the University of Exeter.
• Learners will gain a critical and reflective understanding of the CYP IAPT model of service change, outcome monitoring, and fundamentals of systemic approaches working with children and families.
