Job summary

NLC is seeking an Operations Associate for its London office. The role involves supporting fund finance operations, loan administration and investment operations, collaborating with the Deal Team, Portfolio Management and Finance to ensure smooth transaction flow from execution to portfolio management.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience in investment operations or asset management, strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail, with proficiency in Excel and comfort

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in investment operations, fund operations, private credit or asset management.
• Experience supporting trade lifecycle processes, reconciliations or loan administration.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement.
• Comfortable working across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with investment/portfolio management systems.

Responsibilities

• Operations & Controls: governance, documentation and day-to-day oversight.
• Post-close loan lifecycle administration and related activities.
• Technology & Change: system enhancements and integrations.
• Stakeholder support: coordination with external providers and new funds.
