Deloitte Operations in Manchester is seeking an experienced CLO, Funds & Loan Operations Associate to support onboarding, administration and ongoing management of CLO and leveraged loan portfolios. The role combines knowledge of syndicated loan documentation (LMA/LSTA), structured credit products and loan operations with a strong focus on process automation, data quality and improvement.

• Experience with CLO, leveraged loan operations and loan servicing.
• Knowledge of syndicated loan documentation and structured credit products.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate loan documentation (LMA/LSTA) to support onboarding and portfolio management.
• Manage loan administration across CLO portfolios, including positions, settlements, cashflows, and reference data.
• Support CLO warehouse facilities, funding requests, and reporting.
• Perform QA and oversee operational workflows, ensuring controls and escalation paths.
• Utilise loan administration platforms such as Solvas, Loan IQ, Polaris, or similar systems.
• Drive process improvements using automation, AI, and data analytics to boost efficiency.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, trustees, lenders, and investors on day-to-day operations.

We are seeking an experienced CLO,Funds & Loan Operations Associate to support the onboarding,administration, and ongoing management of CLO and leveraged loan portfolios.The role combines deep knowledge of syndicated loan documentation, structuredcredit products, and loan operations with a strong focus on process improvement,automation, and data quality.

Key responsibilities include:

• Review and validate loan documentation, includingLMA and LSTA agreements, to support asset onboarding and portfoliomanagement.
  
• Manage loan administration activities across CLOportfolios, ensuring accurate maintenance of positions, settlements,cashflows, and reference data.
  
• Support CLO warehouse facilities, includingfunding requests, portfolio reporting, and investor reportingrequirements.
  
• Perform quality assurance and oversight ofoperational workflows, ensuring adherence to controls, procedures, andescalation protocols.
  
• Utilise loan administration platforms such asSolvas, Loan IQ, Polaris, or similar systems.

Ideal Profile

• 2-5+ years' experience within CLO, leveragedloan, loan servicing, fund administration, or structured creditoperations.
  
• Strong understanding of loan lifecycle events,trade settlement, onboarding, and portfolio maintenance.
  
• Experience working with CLO managers, fund administrators, investment banks, or asset managers.
  
• Proven track record of improving operationalprocesses through automation and technology.
