Ocorian in Belfast seeks an experienced Fund Accounting Manager to lead high-quality fund accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of alternative investment structures. You will partner with clients and key stakeholders, driving operational excellence and team development.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure regulatory compliance and support growth initiatives, mentoring staff to deliver excellence in service and reporting.

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Proven experience in fund accounting, financial reporting or alternative investment structures.
• Strong ability to apply accounting standards pragmatically and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery and review of fund accounting, management accounts and financial statements, ensuring high-quality reporting for a portfolio of clients.
• Build strong relationships with clients, auditors and advisers, acting as a trusted point of contact and delivering a proactive service.
• Oversee day-to-day fund operations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements and internal controls.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency, service quality and client outcomes, while supporting business growth opportunities.
• Lead, mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning and high performance.
