Job summary

Ocorian, a specialist funds services firm, is seeking a Fund Accountant to deliver accurate financial reporting for a portfolio of funds. You will work closely with clients, auditors and internal teams to ensure timely, high-quality reporting.

The role requires recently qualified accountants with solid technical accounting knowledge, excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail. Based in Belfast, the position involves a hands-on, client-facing environment with opportunities

Job Description

Purpose of the Role

As a Fund Accountant, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting for a portfolio of funds, working closely with clients, auditors and internal teams to provide a high-quality service.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage financial reporting and accounting deliverables for a portfolio of funds.
• Prepare accounts, NAV calculations and client reports, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
• Develop an understanding of client structures, transactions and reporting requirements.
• Build relationships with clients, auditors and advisers to support reporting and audit processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements and internal procedures while contributing to process improvements.
