Fund Accountant & Product Control - Hedge Fund

Our multi-strategy and cross-product investment model is seeking a Fund Accountant & Product Controller due to growth from new capital influx and the deployment of a new investment pod.

This role will work directly with the Head of Fund Finance and will include the following responsibilities:

1. Managing NAV, P&L, and fund finance reporting.
2. Preparing daily and weekly P&L fund reports.
3. Calculating, reconciling, and signing off on NAV.
4. Approving administrator NAVs and resolving discrepancies across multiple service providers.
5. Conducting NAV analysis across various asset classes and fund structures.
6. Performing NAV analysis within a passthrough multi-strategy model.
7. Engaging with investment teams and PMs for accurate valuations.
8. Analyzing gross trading and net exposure performance.
9. Providing performance attribution and benchmarking reports.
10. Pricing and sourcing data analysis.
11. Shadow incentive fee and expense analysis.
12. Analyzing accruals, caps, budgets, cash flows, and invoices.
13. Supporting investment reporting and preparing board packs.
14. Handling additional reporting for ODD and C-Level requests.

Experience required includes:

1. Strong background in NAV, P&L, and fund finance/valuation reporting.
2. Detailed NAV construction and P&L analysis across multiple asset classes.
3. Ability to explain NAV and valuations to PMs and investment teams.
4. Experience with investor/DDQ reporting.
5. Ideally, experience with multi-manager hedge funds.
6. Knowledge of the passthrough model is desirable.
