The Role:

We are looking for experienced Scala Developers to join our expanding delivery team. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying modern, scalable backend systems, primarily using Scala and related functional programming tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
• Build reliable and scalable microservices using Scala.
• Develop and maintain systems using frameworks like Play, Cats, and Akka.
• Deploy, test, and maintain containerized applications using Docker.
• Integrate with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and mentor junior developers.
• Continuously improve system architecture, performance, and reliability.

Technical Skills & Experience:

• 4–5 years of professional experience as a Scala Developer.
• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Play Framework, Cats, and Akka.
• Proficiency with container tools like Docker.
• Hands-on knowledge of AWS services for cloud-based deployments.
• Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
• Solid problem-solving skills, clear communication, and a collaborative mindset.
