Job summary

Reed in Rochester is seeking a passionate Functional Skills Teacher to join a specialist school. You will teach Functional Skills English and Maths from Entry Level to Level 2 in small groups or 1:1, tailoring lessons to each learner's needs.

You will collaborate with SEN and pastoral teams to support learners, track progress, and create a calm, positive learning environment while benefiting from ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS/QTLS or experienced Functional Skills tutor.
• Experience delivering Functional Skills English & Maths (Entry Level to Level 2).
• Ability to differentiate instruction for SEN/SEMH learners.
• Patient, creative, and resilient with a passion for helping young people.
