Job summary

Oakmoor Recruitment is seeking a Functional Skills Tutor to deliver and coordinate English and Maths to learners, up to Level 2, at centre-based locations with autonomy to plan and support learners. The role welcomes innovation and creative approaches to engage learners in the classroom.

The successful candidate will deliver Maths & English in classroom settings, travel to other centres as needed, and contribute to learner progress and outcomes with a focus on delivering high-quality Functional

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Functional Skills Maths & English up to Level 2
• Teaching qualification at Level 4 or above
• Good IT and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and time management
• Passion for people development
• Full UK Driving license and own car

OVERVIEW: FUNCTIONAL SKILLS TUTOR

Are you passionate about supporting people to improve their knowledge, skills and behaviours? Do you have an innovative approach to breaking down barriers to learning in the classroom? Can you tailor learning, support and advice for learners to ensure each learner makes excellent progress? Are you qualified and experienced in Functional Skills Delivery? If the answer is 'yes' then we would love to hear from you!

We are currently seeking an experienced Functional Skills Tutor to deliver and coordinate the successful completion of Functional Skills qualifications, for a well-established training provider.

Delivering Functional Skills Maths & English up to L2 in a classroom environment, you will work closely with learners to make a genuine impact on learner progress and outcomes. For the right candidate this position will offer real autonomy to plan, deliver and support learners and we really welcome innovation and creativity when considering the best ways to engage learners both in the classroom.

This role is centre-based (Middle Wallop), but you will need to be flexible to travel to other centres when needed.

SALARY/BENEFITS: FUNCTIONAL SKILLS TUTOR

• Salary £28500K - £32000K (depending on experience & qualifications)
• Mileage at 45p
