Connex Education is seeking a dedicated Functional Skills Tutor to provide face-to-face tutoring (in home, school, or community spaces) across UB6. The role offers flexible hours (Mon–Fri) and both part-time and full-time options, with weekly PAYE.
You will support learners with various attainment levels and help them achieve academic goals while promoting wellbeing. Ideal candidates hold QTS and a relevant bachelor’s degree, with prior tutoring experience and strong communication skills.

As an Functional Skills Tutor, you will offer face-to-face tutoring sessions, tailored to individual needs of each young person in a challenging but highly rewarding role. This role allows you the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young people and greatly improve their life chances as they move through their childhood into adulthood.
