Job summary
Nova Training is seeking an English & Employability Tutor to join our Walsall team. This full-time role focuses on delivering Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2, planning personalized learning, and meeting KPIs.
The position requires a minimum of 2 years teaching experience in 14-19 provision and a full teaching qualification (Cert Ed/C&G 7407/CTTLS/DTLLS). Additional qualifications are encouraged.
Qualifications
- Experience delivering Functional Skills or Maths and English to Level 2.
- Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in 14-19 provision.
- Full teaching qualification (Cert Ed, C&G 7407, CTTLS, DTLLS).
Responsibilities
- Deliver Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2.
- Plan learning to meet learner needs with prepared lesson plans.
- Achieve KPIs and Individual Performance Plan.
- Plan embedded learning for groups and individuals.
- Develop delivery to maximise progression opportunities for learners.
- Create conditions in training centres to develop abilities and confidence.
- Regularly assess learners' work.
