Job summary

Nova Training is seeking an English & Employability Tutor to join our Walsall team. This full-time role focuses on delivering Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2, planning personalized learning, and meeting KPIs.

The position requires a minimum of 2 years teaching experience in 14-19 provision and a full teaching qualification (Cert Ed/C&G 7407/CTTLS/DTLLS). Additional qualifications are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering Functional Skills or Maths and English to Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Plan embedded learning for groups and individuals.
• Develop delivery to maximise progression opportunities for learners.
• Create conditions in training centres to develop abilities and confidence.
• Regularly assess learners' work.

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, (depending on experience & qualifications)

• Plan individual learning to meet learner needs and ensure lesson plans are prepared.
• Achieve company KPI s and Individual Performance Plan
• Plan embedded learning for groups and individuals
• Develop delivery in order to maximise progression opportunities for learners.
• Create conditions in the training centre(s) which will help to develop the abilities, skill and confidence of each learner.
• Regularly assess learners' work.

Requirements

• Experience of delivering Functional Skills or Maths and English to Level 2
• A Minimum of 2 years teaching experience in 14-19 provision.
• Full Teaching Qualifications I.i.e. Cert Ed, C&G 7407, CTTLS, DTLLS
• Passion & desire to teach
• Willingness to undertake any relevant Teaching Qualifications necessary.
