Job summary

SJB Medical is seeking a Functional Assessor (OT/Physio/Paramedic) for its UK centres. The role focuses on conducting functional assessments to support health-related benefit applications, with regular hours, no nights or weekends.

Guaranteed £2,000 salary uplift within your first year (subject to approval milestones and contract)

One‑off approval bonus of 5% of salary

Up to 10% annual performance bonus based on quality and performance

Working pattern:

Full‑time, Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm

About the role

As a Functional Assessor, you'll use your clinical expertise in a new and rewarding way, carrying out functional assessments that support individuals applying for health‑related benefits. This role allows you to apply your clinical judgement while enjoying regular working hours, no night shifts, and no weekend work.

You'll be part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based assessments. Based at one of our UK centres, you'll benefit from a structured working environment, comprehensive training, and clear career development pathways.

What you'll need

To apply, you must:

• Be a

registered healthcare professional (Nurse, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist, Paramedic, or Pharmacist)

• Have

at least 12 months' post‑registration experience within the last 5 years

• Have

no current restrictions to practice

• Demonstrate strong communication, assessment, and report‑writing skills
